Calton Apartments are part of a private residential development situated in Annandale Street, a quiet residential street off the top of Leith walk, in the heart of Scotland's capital. The apartments are only a short walk away from Princes Street, Calton Hill, the Playhouse Theatre and Edinburgh Castle.

A wide variety of local shopping facilities, as well as restaurants, theatres, entertainment, and historic attractions, are located within a short walking distance. Princes Street, with the backdrop of Edinburgh Castle, is nearby. The apartments are within easy access of Edinburgh International Airport, Waverley Railway Station, St Andrew's Bus Station, and local public transport and also easily reached by car.

How to reach us

By car towards the Greenside Hotel (check-in point for Calton Apartments- Hotel - a short walking distance or 2 minutes by car):

Upon reaching Edinburgh, which is clearly signposted on all major routes, follow the signs to the City Centre. Head for Leith Walk, past the Playhouse Theatre. You will come to a landscaped roundabout with a Victorian clock tower in the centre: turn diagonally right at the roundabout, just before the Pedestrian crossing (crossing is on London Road, you do not go any further than the pedestrian crossing on London Road). The Greenside Hotel is located at the East side of Princes Street, with major landmarks closest to the Hotel being the Edinburgh Playhouse Theatre and Calton Hill. Go up a cobbled road (Blenheim Place -which becomes Royal Terrace where the road levels out), this will have trees on the left-hand side and Georgian buildings on the right-hand side. Greenside Hotel is just a short distance on Royal Terrace (Number 9).

Once you have been given the keys, parking pass and instructions on e.g., hot water, heating, etc., you will be directed down to the apartments which are located in Annandale Street - just 2 minutes away in the car.

By Plane: the nearest airport is Edinburgh International Airport. From the Airport you can take a taxi, which will bring you directly to the check-in point at the Greenside Hotel in Royal Terrace or take the bus, Airlink, number 100. Get off in the city centre, at Waverley Bridge. From Princes Street, take one bus leaving to Leith Walk: number 4, 10, 11, 34... Get off in Leith walk and go up to Royal Terrace.

By Train: the nearest Railway Station is Waverley Station. From the station you can take a taxi, which will bring you directly to the check-in point at the Greenside Hotel in Royal Terrace.
